The chef's biography
Pascal Dagorne's name has now been around the
Vancouver culinary scene for several years. He made his debuts as an Apprentice
in France and worked his way up to a two star Michelin that has now three.
"It was a daily marathon to get ready on time and maybe have 10
minutes to eat before service. Walking was not an option to keep
up with the pace ". "It was ten long
years of learning process but I don't regret any of it, I learned so much from the chefs".
Pascal worked in Paris, South of France, Brittany and the Alps.
In 1996,With his culinary diploma in hand and plenty of
experience, the attraction to North America
brought him to Vancouver. he worked at The "Season's in the Park",
as Sous-chef at "the Cafe de Paris", Armacord then owned "Cyrano
restaurant" and was recently Executive chef during 4 years at the Tsawwassen Coast Hotel
witch
got awarded "Best Coast Hotel" in 2006 & again in 2007 along with
all four awards.
Pascal's apprentice
also won the Eat Vancouver "iron chef" competition in 2006 and
featured on city cooks TV show with host Simi Sarah and on stage
during "Taste of the City" event.
